Hi friends! I’m a West Chester Maternity Photographer, and I’m so excited to share this sweet maternity session with you all! Cierra is the most beautiful expectant mother, and I was honored to work with her to capture this magical season of her life.

I absolutely love getting to do studio maternity sessions in the Cincinnati area! They are always filled with so much love and excitement for this upcoming chapter in this family’s life. The energy is so good! We get to talk about their upcoming little on, all their plans for the nursery and the family and all the things.

Cierra was absolutely glowing for her session! And together, they’re such a loving couple.

What to Expect from Your West Chester Maternity Photographer

Clients frequently ask me when should they book their studio maternity session and is it too late to book!? I recommend booking between the 32-36 week mark but the latest I book for maternity sessions is 37 weeks.

While the focus of the session is Mama, I always make sure to include your partner in some of the photos if you would like, because this is an exciting time for them as well.

As for the setting, I like to do maternity sessions in a studio. This works well because the background is neutral, the light is fantastic, and the pictures come out beautifully. My expectant mamas are always glowing!

If you’re wondering about what to wear, check out my style guide blog post! I also send out an extensive style guide to all my clients! First and foremost, I recommend wearing something that you feel beautiful and comfortable in. For a casual look, like Cierra, jeans and a simple top is perfect! Show off your bump! If you want a more romantic or glamorous look, a dreamy long dress looks lovely!
