I’m a Northern KY Newborn Photographer and I’m so excited to share this totally sweet newborn session with you today!
I know I say this a lot, but this truly was a sweet family to get to work with!! Mike and Lindsay recently welcomed Baby Annie and I just can’t get over how adorable they are together! It’s so cool as a photographer when you get to see all the love that a family has for one another. Annie was such a sweet and calm newborn baby!
They had beautiful large windows in each room which helped create beautiful pictures!
One question I get asked a lot is:” We just moved into a new home a few months ago, is that okay? Or will that not make good photos?” My answer may surprise you… Honestly, I prefer that! I love a clean, fresh aesthetic because the focus of the photos is you, not your home or your belongings. I make sure the area we are shooting photos in is a clean simple background but don’t be worried about the setting not having a lot of decorations! These always make great photos! Of course, don’t worry if you’ve lived in your house for the last ten years, either! There’s always a spot in your home with good light and a clean wall, and we will find it!
I also have a lot of families that I work with tell me that they are going to need help posing because that is something that is not natural for them. If this is you, don’t worry one bit about this, I got you!! I have some posing prompts to help, but the most important thing is to focus on your little one! I will let you know when I need you to look at the camera, just relax and be present with your family!! Lifestyle photography includes a lot of candids and life-like moments, so no need to have the perfect pose. And even if you don’t feel natural in front of the camera, your photos will come out beautifully.
Look at all of the details of this one! I hope that you enjoy looking at these photos as much as I enjoyed taking them! Mike and Lindsey, thank you for trusting me with your sweet Annie’s first photos. It was my honor!
Friends, if you want to work with me, reach out to me here. Let’s get started.
