I’m so excited to share baby Hue’s sweet Cincinnati Outside Newborn Photography session with you today! Hue is the absolute sweetest boy, and his family was a pleasure to work with!
Typically, I work with families with their newborns around 1 to 2 weeks of age since this is an ideal time to pose sleepy little swaddled babies. However, baby Hue was a little older than my typical client. Of course, this doesn’t mean we can’t get some adorable in-home newborn photos!
After the 3-week mark, a lot of babies don’t like to be swaddled for their photos any longer and might not be as sleepy. No worries, though! There’s still plenty of cute things we can do for your sweet babe’s pictures. For Hue’s session, we used an adorable woven Moses basket, an adorable blue sleep sack that matched his big blue eyes, and perfectly coordinated outfits for Mom and Dad. Another detail that I love is the family’s custom name sign in their living room.
Hue was wide awake for his entire session, and he was ready for the camera! We started his session inside in his nursery and the living room because these two rooms had the best atmosphere and best lighting! But soon we noticed that Hue was at his happiest when Dad would take him outside, so we decided to finish out the session outside! I love how the background for the outside photos show Hue’s house, as well. What a sweet touch to include the home that Mom and Dad brought their newborn baby home to. Love that!
I love how these photos came out. You can truly tell how much Mom and Dad love their babe, and it was so sweet to witness.
I hope that you enjoy these photos as much as I do!
