Why You Should Work With a Dayton Child Photographer

Did you know that photos are very powerful tool that can send you back in time? Connect you to your past, remind you of specific places, events and even feelings you experienced on that day?

As your child grows up, you want to be able to remember them at every stage of their life. With each photo that you capture, it will not just be a picture but a vivid memory of your child at that point in their life. Maybe it’s how they said a certain word before they learned to say it properly, or maybe it’s their contagious belly laugh when you tickle their toes. Maybe it’s the way they smelled or the way they would run up to you to give you a hug when you walk through the door. Or maybe it’s the way your children interacted with each other or how your beloved family pet reacted when you brought your baby home.

I’ve said this before, and I’ll say it again: the days are long, but the years are short. Before you know it, your little baby will be walking across the stage at graduation, moving on to college. You can’t get these moments back, so it’s so important to immortalize them in photographs!

What Does a Child Photography Session Entail?

This is an easy one to answer, folks. You and your children! That’s it! You and your littles in a beautiful venue, playing and enjoying each other.

I love to include whatever your child is interested in- maybe art, exploring the great outdoors, building towers with rocks or blocks. Whatever it is, we can find a way to work it in. The same goes for a favorite stuffy or toy. One client of mine had a one-year-old daughter who had a stuffed corgi that she brought everywhere with her! So the corgi is in the pictures, too!

Milestone Photography Sessions

One of my personal delights as a child photographer is working with families for the important milestones in their lives! It’s a privilege and a pleasure to capture a child’s first days in this world (either a Fresh 48 session in the hospital or an in-home newborn session) and then their six-month milestones, their first birthday, and so on! What a beautiful way to watch a child grow.

I would love to work with you and your family, friends! Dayton Child Photography is so important for so many reasons. But ultimately, you will be so thankful to have these precious moments immortalized forever in film.
