Here’s everything you need to know about booking baby photography sessions!

Congratulations! The sweet little baby you’ve so eagerly waited for is here! Let’s celebrate with booking your newborn photography session in the Dayton area!

DAYTON NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHER | DAYTON INFANT PHOTOGRAPHER

You’ve heard me say this before… The days are long, but the years are short! Infant photography is the perfect way to cement those fleeting, early days of infancy. It goes by so quickly, and your baby will change so much in the first year of their lives. Even more so during the first month! It’s amazing. I work with families and their newborns to capture those moments so that you can remember them forever.

WHEN SHOULD I SCHEDULE OUR INFANT PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION?

I recommend booking your infant photography session during your second trimester. We schedule based on your due date, and I only schedule a limited number of due dates per week, knowing that your actual due date can vary. Once your little one has arrived, then we will finalize the date and time of your session! Typically, it’s within ten days after your babe’s birthday.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO DO NEWBORN SESSIONS AFTER MY BABY IS A COUPLE OF WEEKS OLD?

Yes! I’ve definitely done newborn sessions with one month old babies as well! While working within 10-14 days of your babe’s birthday is my preference, it’s not set in stone! Babies change so much within the first couple of weeks, and this is why I prefer to do the session within the first ten days.

WHAT IF I’VE ALREADY HAD MY BABY AND WANT TO SCHEDULE NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY SESSIONS?

No worries! Normally my schedule fills up quickly, but I’m flexible and if I have availability, I would love to work with you! Your pictures will be special regardless of whether or not they’re done at the “ideal” time. We can celebrate whatever season you’re in!

You’ll want to remember every detail of these sweet, early days of your baby’s life, and I would love the opportunity to help you to do that in a way that’s perfectly customized to you!
