I’m so excited to share this Cincinnati Newborn Photographer session with you today! You might remember seeing this family a few months ago. I recently did a gender reveal photography session with them, combined with an extended family session.
The Cherucherils are such a sweet family, and I was thrilled to work with them again. Especially since the sweet babe, Raan, whose gender was revealed in the spring finally made his appearance! One of the highlights of my job is seeing families grow. In this case, seeing this sweet mama pregnant and then this much awaited baby making his entrance into the world!
Mama had such a sweet, loving personality and you could really feel her love for her family. Dad was so caring, and attentive to his family. And Big Brother loved his new little brother so much! He was so protective of him! I love to see these interactions between family members.
Raan was so chill and calm. He just wanted to sleep during his session. (This is totally normal!) He loved being swaddled too, and that made for some adorable pictures. You’ll see both swaddled and lifestyle newborn photos in a more candid style in this session, as well. We go with the flow during a newborn session. Your baby sets the pace! If they need a break, they get a break! If they need milk, we stop so that they can get milk! They want to sleep through the session? We let them sleep. We will do whatever is needed, and I’ll take a plethora of beautiful photos of it all!
We made sure to capture all of the adorable little “newborn” things. The sweet, sleepy face… the soft skin and little tiny toes… the little legs all tucked up after being inside Mama’s tummy… the way that Mama feels when she’s holding her much loved baby after those nine long months of waiting… the big, long baby stretches… and of course, all of those sweet, sweet newborn snuggles.
Newborn lifestyle photography includes a mix of posed photos and more candid lifestyle shots. It’s important to me as a photographer to capture everyone’s individual personality, as well as the things that are important to you. Like maybe a special blanket or an heirloom toy, or perhaps a specific action that will help you to remember special moments later on.
Whether you’re bringing home your first baby, or your fourth, there will be so many changes in your lives! Especially within the first few months; newborns change so quickly! It’s so important to capture these fleeting moments in your baby’s life.
As the saying goes, “babies don’t keep.” As a photographer, it’s my job to be able to capture all of the little “baby” moments so that when all of a sudden, your baby is 18 years old and leaving for college, you can look back at these photos and be transported back to the magical baby days and experience them all over again. These photos will be beautiful heirlooms for your children and their children to cherish as well.
I love my job, and this beautiful family’s Cincinnati Newborn Photographer session is a perfect example of why. I hope that you enjoy this look into this session.
If you want to book a newborn or milestone photography session of your own, reach out to me here and let’s get started! I can’t wait to capture your family’s magical moments for you.

First of all I would like to say fantastic blog! I had a quick question that I’d like to ask if you don’t mind. I was interested to find out how you center yourself and clear your mind before writing. I’ve had trouble clearing my mind in getting my ideas out. I truly do take pleasure in writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are lost simply just trying to figure out how to begin. Any ideas or tips? Thank you!
