I’m so excited to share another in-home Troy, Ohio newborn photography session with you today! You already know that I love in-home sessions! They’re the perfect way to feature a family’s newest member and to capture those sweet, early newborn days.

Any parent knows that those newborn early days are like nothing else. You’ve waited for nine months for this child, and they’re finally here. They’re in your arms at last. You’re exhausted, running on little to no sleep, learning all about your new baby but in those first few days – nothing else exists. Of course, you have to go back to the real world at some point, but I love getting to capture those early, dreamy days so you can remember them forever.

I’ve said this before, but I’ll say it again – I love the setting of in-home sessions because this is where families exist, where they spend so much of their time, where life happens! And of course, families are so comfortable here and that translates into peace and calm in their photos. The details in the nursery pictures add such a charming element to a family’s custom photo albums.

This sweet family was so excited to meet their new babe, Camden. His big brother, especially, was so thrilled to interact with him. I loved watching the two of them together. One of my favorite photos is of Camden asleep in his crib, with his big brother looking over the side of the crib. You can just feel his excitement!
