I’m thrilled to share another in-home newborn session in Tipp City, from your local Tipp City Ohio Newborn Photographer with you today! When the Joel and Katelyn reached out about in-home newborn lifestyle photos, I was so excited to work with them! I’m sure you all know by now that in-home newborn sessions are an absolute favorite of mine. The intimate setting allows me to capture the new, exciting love between parents and a newborn baby.

Tipp City Newborn Photographer Session

This sweet baby girl, Avery, is Joel and Katelyn’s first child. They didn’t find out the gender until she was born! This little babe was so beautiful, and you can see the total adoration that her parents have for her on their faces. After waiting for this sweet baby for so long, finally meeting her (and finding out she was a girl!) It was a delight for me to capture these special newborn days for them so they can remember these feelings forever!

Joel and Katelyn had the cutest little outfit picked out for her photo shoot, but she was so tiny that it didn’t quite fit! And so, she got tucked into this lovely floral swaddle blanket and matching bow. I documented the details of Avery’s nursery. Parents put so much love and work into their baby’s room and I love getting to capture the love there, too. Books are one of the most special details, I think, because parents will spend hours reading the same book over and over again and this makes for some sentiment!

Another great element in this session is the little soccer ball! Joel is a soccer coach in Tipp City, so we wanted to incorporate this into their newborn session. Can’t you already imagine little Avery and her dad kicking the ball around the backyard?? So sweet!

Go With the Flow

Avery was so calm and easy to work with! That being said, we go with the flow during newborn shoots. A newborn session includes up to 90 minutes so that we can take our time and do whatever needs to be done to have a calm, happy baby (and parents!). Avery needed to be fed about halfway through our session, so we took a break so that she would be full and happy for the rest of the shoot.
