I’m so excited to share this Dayton Lifestyle Newborn Photographer Session with you today!
This particular session was so special! Christmas is universally known as the most wonderful time of the year. Christmas combined with an eagerly awaited, special new family member makes it even more wonderful!!
Baby Tate was born right before Thanksgiving, so the family wanted to include some Christmas elements into his newborn session, and it turned out so beautifully! Christmas is such a magical time, and even more so with a brand new baby. Family photos in front of the Christmas tree are a great idea during the most wonderful season of all, and those sweet pictures with the cutest subjects will came in handy during Christmas Card season, too!
Another beautiful detail of the Christmas photos in this session is the Christmas tree itself. Their tree is full of sweet, sentimental memories in the form of Christmas ornaments. It’s so special to unpack your memories every year to hang on your family’s tree. Having this in the pictures adds another layer of magical memories that this family will love seeing every year.
Another favorite aspect of this newborn session was getting to see how much Tate’s older siblings just adored him! Jacob (8) and Emmy (6) love him so much and they were so excited to get to hold him and love on him. It just doesn’t get any sweeter than that!!
Normally, during an in-home session we like to a large part of the session in baby’s nursery. But we have to factor in the lighting and make changes as needed. For this particular session, we did the majority in the master bedroom because the lighting was fantastic but we still made sure to include detailed shots from the nursery. The nursery is a special room, and all of those lovely little details are so fun to include in a session for Mom and Dad to remember forever.
I loved working with this family, and I hope that all of you enjoy this sneak peek into one of the most magical newborn shoots!
Thanks for being here, and reach out to me if you want to make your own magic.
Talk soon, Janelle
